Mad About The Boy Event Series: Mark Leckey and Jason Evans in conversation with Lou Stoppard

Mad About the Boy talk series |

Thursday, 31 March at 7pm
LCF, RHS East Space

Artist Mark Leckey’s 1999 film Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore has influenced countless designers, notably Raf Simons. The themes in the film – masculinity, tribes, club culture – also emerge in the work of photographer Jason Evans, whose photographs of street cast young men in the 1990s appear in Mad About The Boy.  Leckey, Evans and curator Lou Stoppard led a discussion talking about youth culture, music and nightlife, masculinity and the influence of club culture on style and fashion.
