Focusing on two key protagonists, Saacha explores the trade union activism, working class poetry, and painting of Marxist Mumbai, to weave a complex portrait of the city, from its industrial height to its de-industrialising present. The event is part of Postgraduate Community Pop-Up Common Room Events and will include an introduction and post-screening Q&A by the directors, that will be chaired by Rupert Waldron.
