Due to the global health crisis, London College of Fashion, UAL was forced to cut short the 2020 programme for Fashion Space Gallery and Arcade East – its dedicated exhibition spaces for contemporary fashion discourses.
We are sad to announce that the gallery will not reopen before the end of the year, the year that marks its 10th anniversary. We are working on ways to ensure that FSG can continue to inspire LCF students and our wider community, providing thought provoking exhibitions and events which support cutting edge research, new thinking and emerging fashion talent.
We encourage you to continue to follow our journey through @FashionSpaceGallery and @LCFLondon to be the first to hear how the Fashion Space Gallery will evolve and change in response to our changing world.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the gallery over the last 10 years from our first exhibition of photographer Alex Hoedt’s work in 2010 to our last exhibition The Real Thing. The space has seen extraordinary collaborations from Alexander McQueen to Chanel to exhibitions such as Mad About the Boy, Museum of Transology and Mundo LatinX. To celebrate this legacy, over the coming months, we will be looking back at some of the exhibitions which have shaped the last 10 years; the experimental installations and events at our Arcade East space, the collaborations that changed the way we interacted with fashion and the people that inspired us and challenged us to look at our world differently.
